Asturagua and the Municipality of Ribadedeva promote the care of the environment with the paperless bill
If all clients of the municipality will opt for the paperless bill, a year would emit approximately 1.18 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere, and it would save 12,589 liters of water and 803 kg of wood.
In order to achieve the minimum possible environmental impact and promote among citizens caring for the environment and respect for the natural environment, Asturagua, the company responsible for the management of the public water supply in Ribadedeva, together with the Town Hall, has launched the 'Paperless Bill’: A free service through which citizens will be able to receive the invoice in electronic format rather than on paper. In this way, will contribute to the care of the environment by reducing the carbon footprint and the water footprint derived from the issuance on paper invoices from Asturagua. If all clients of the municipality will opt for the paperless bill, a year would emit approximately 1.18 tonnes of CO2 to the atmosphere, and it would save 12,589 liters of water and 803 kg of wood.
In addition to the environmental benefits, the paperless bill also provides other important advantages:
- Speed: users receive the invoice at the time of its issuance.
- Convenience: you can see from where they want, when they want.
- Security: Only the client receives the personal data and consumption in your email.
In the next few days of service users will receive a letter to accede to this modality of bill, unless you prefer to continue receiving it on paper in which case they should notify the sending an email to the address mifacturaonline@asturagua.es , by calling the toll-free telephone number 900 330 019, available Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 21:00 hours, or in the office of Asturagua located in Bº El Redondo (House of Stone), 1st Floor, Colombres (Customer Service Hours: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 13:00 hours).
Customers who have not yet communicated their email or mobile phone number to Asturagua and wish to register in this service can do so through the Asturagua Virtual Office.
The money saved with this initiative will help to pay water bills to customers who are in a situation of social vulnerability.
